Sacred Plant Medicine
in the Heart of Costa Rica
La Matriztica is a plant medicine retreat centre based in Los Pargos, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Founded by Brad and Sarah, we offer Ayahuasca ceremonies and Iboga retreats for small groups of up to 10 participants — held at Casa Sagrada, our private sanctuary near Nosara and Playa Negra.
Brad and Sarah have devoted their lives to this work — bridging indigenous traditions with the needs of the modern Western mind in a way that is honest, grounded, and deeply human. Every ceremony creates a container of deep safety, love and integrity where the land itself becomes part of the healing.
We work with Ayahuasca and Iboga separately, with full respect for each medicine's unique intelligence, teaching and demands on the body and spirit. We serve guests from the UK, USA, Europe and worldwide.
Our Offerings

Conscious Medicine Mentorship
CMM is a one-month in-house intensive plant medicine study.
The program includes accommodation, transportation, and a deep study of medicines, indigenous traditions, modalities, and rituals, diving into the study of ceremonial space.
The CMM program is limited to two individuals per month.
